Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Sayville, NY
Company/Industry: Manufacturer/Welding/Machining/Assembly Services
Schedule: Mon-Fri, On-Site Only, 1st Shift
Salary: $90,000 - $120,000/yr, depending on experience, with flexibility for the right candidate
Type: Direct hire + Benefits
Main duties include but are not limited to:
- Analyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
- Strong strategic thinking capacity to develop and guide the direction of the department to the benefit of company objectives
- Responsible for the preparation and analysis of financial reports, cost reports, and corporate reporting packages as part of the month-end closing process.
- Analyze various audits, prepares/review reports and communicate recommendations to management based on reports analysis.
Requirements:
- BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related discipline is required
- Experience in Manufacturing required
- Ideal experience with a $5-10 million sales company
- 5+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $90,000.00 - $120,000.00
