Basic Functions: Assist the Events Manager in the planning and implementation of all events for Habitat Charlotte Region. Working in conjunction with other members of the affiliate staff, volunteers and community partners, this person will aid in the day of logistics of events as well as the planning. This role will also be responsible for behind-the-scenes admin responsibilities such as note taking in meetings, keeping up with event dashboards and maintaining event scoping workbooks. Seeking to put Gods love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.

Principal accountabilities :

Support the planning and execution of large-scale affiliate events, including Gaston Gala, CHR Reunion, Operation Playhouse, Building Futures Symposium, and Homeowner Picnic

Maintain and update event workbooks to ensure accurate event planning and execution

Document meeting notes and distribute recaps to attendees in a timely manner

Assist Sr. Content Marketing Specialist with event photography and content capture to support social media and marketing initiatives

Create and manage Eventbrite registration pages for external events, ensuring accurate event details, branding, and ticketing options

Monitor event registration activity and generate weekly registrant reports, providing affiliate staffers with timely updates on participant information

Qualifications

Valid Drivers License

Event Planning Experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds

Internal Interactions: All habitat Staff

External Interactions: Community Partners, Volunteers, Habitat Partner Families

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (occasional evening and weekend hours required based on events)

Level of authority: Reports to Events Manager
