About this Role

We are seeking a dedicated Dental Receptionist to join our progressive, state-of-the-art practice. This permanent, full-time opportunity is distributed across our modern Edmonton locations.
We are looking for a self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented professional who brings a caring and compassionate approach to patient care. The successful candidate will excel at building meaningful connections with patients, parents, and team members alike. A positive attitude and a strong commitment to professional excellence are essential for success in this role

Responsibilities & Duties

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Welcome and greet patients and parents/guardians upon arrival, ensuring a warm and professional first impression

- Schedule and book patient appointments, managing the schedule efficiently

- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a timely and professional manner

- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming recpetion area

- Manage insurance administration including direct billing and liaising with insurance companies

- Collect payments and close a balanced day

- Additional duties may be assigned as required

Skills & Experience

We are looking for a professional who demonstrates the following clinical and interpersonal skills:

- Proficient in English, both written and verbal

- Computer proficient; able to learn new software quickly. Ortho2Edge and Curve Hero are used at our clinic

- Experience in an Dental  clinic is an asset

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively with children of all ages

- Available to work during applicable business hours

- Willing to travel between different clinic locations across Edmonton
