We are seeking an experienced Production Planning Supervisor to lead production planning and scheduling operations in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring that production plans align with customer demand, operational capacity, and delivery commitments while driving efficiency across the supply chain. As a key member of the operations team, you will collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Warehouse, and Supply Chain partners to optimize production performance, improve processes, and support business growth. What You'll Do

- Lead the short-term production scheduling process to meet customer demand and on-time delivery objectives.
- Develop and maintain production schedules, making adjustments based on labor, material, and capacity constraints.
- Partner with Operations teams to drive schedule adherence, improve production performance, and ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities by providing production insights, capacity assessments, and execution feedback.
- Convert demand forecasts into actionable production and capacity plans.
- Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Quality, Warehouse, and Supply Chain teams to establish production priorities.
- Work closely with inventory and sourcing teams to ensure material availability and maintain inventory targets.
- Manage planning data within ERP systems and generate production and planning performance reports.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on lean manufacturing principles, operational efficiency, and process optimization.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop production planning and scheduling personnel.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

- 5-8 years of production planning, scheduling, or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of production scheduling, capacity planning, demand forecasting, and supply-demand balancing.
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems, including Sage .
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP functions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $72.12/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
