Kitchen Porter | Sandbar

We’re looking for a reliable Kitchen Porter to join the team at Sandbar, our beachfront venue in the heart of Surfers Paradise.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for 20–25 hours per week, working primarily across our busy breakfast shifts.

What you’ll be doing

- Supporting the kitchen team with cleaning and general kitchen duties
- Washing dishes, pots and pans
- Keeping the kitchen, equipment and work areas clean and organised
- Assisting with deliveries, stock movement and rubbish removal
- Helping the chefs with basic kitchen tasks when required
- Following food safety and workplace hygiene standards
- Working as part of a fast-paced and supportive kitchen team

About you

- Reliable, hardworking and punctual
- Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is preferred, but not essential
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

- 20-25 hours per week
- Breakfast shifts - approximately 8am-2pm
- Work right by the beach in the heart of Surfers Paradise
