Job Description:

The Vendor Fitter at Roger Dunn Golf Shops is responsible for promoting and maintaining a store culture that is consistent with Worldwide Golfs values, including the Sure No Problem philosophy. Responsibilities Include:

- Maintain an awareness of all golf product knowledge, terminology, merchandise promotions, demo merchandise and sale advertisements being flexible and knowledgeable able to work with specified vendors.

- Evaluate customers needs, apply knowledge of golf club features and benefits, and make recommendations on the right golf clubs for the customer.

- Educate customers on our golf products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.

- Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during the golf club fitting process.

- Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisition merchandise from the stockroom and taking inventory of stock where needed.

- Assist with vendors floor moves, merchandising, and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golfs and vendors standards.

- Once fully trained, recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.

- Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

- Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store. Physical activities include bending, stooping, lifting (up to 15 pounds), carrying, walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis.

- Have a working knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, inventory, internet and order processing systems.

- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Qualifications Desired:

- Golf knowledge/background is required

- 1+ years of club fitting experience is preferred

The hourly rate for this position is $16.90 - $17.50 per hour. Commission may be applicable based on store location and experience. Individual starting rate within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
