These studies accelerate depreciation deductions on commercial and residential investment properties, which can significantly reduce federal tax liability.
Job Summary:
The client is a premier engineering-based cost segregation provider in the United States. Cost segregation is the method of re-classifying components and improvements of your commercial building from real property to personal property, resulting in significant tax savings for the property owner.
Responsibilities include:
- Analyze various financial, architectural, and construction documentation.
- Determine building component costs of commercial properties through estimating techniques and actual cost records.
- Prepare cost segregation reports for upper management review.
- Manage workflow to ensure project completion within client and internal deadlines.
Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, industrial technology, or related field.
- Recent graduate and/or candidates with 0-3 years of experience to be considered.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Detail Oriented
- Able to work in fast paced, high-volume environment.
