About the Role

BDO Brisbane is currently looking for a dynamic   Manager   to   join our   Corporate & International Tax   team in Brisbane.   In this role, you will work closely with our industry leaders, delivering complex compliance and consulting engagements across a diverse client portfolio while continuing to develop your technical   expertise, client management   capabilities   and leadership skills.   We are a growing team, committed to developing future leaders and providing clear opportunities for progression as the practice continues to expand.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead multiple engagements of varying size and complexity   such as   large privately owned MNE, ASX listed companies and Government entities

- Over see   deliverables, work allocations,   deadlines   and budgets

- Review income tax returns and tax effect accounting calculations

- Deliver   complex tax advice across a broad range of corporate and international tax matters   such as tax consolidation, thin capitalisation, Pillar 2, hybrid mismatch rules

- Undertake   transactional work and complex consulting engagements   across   a number of   industries such as   software developers,   manufacturers   and NTER/LGTER entities

- Liaise with clients ,   the broader BDO team   and the ATO   regarding   tax matters and compliance obligations

- Mentor and develop the technical capabilities of graduates and junior team members

- Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team environment

About You

- Demonstrated Corporate Tax experience working in the tax practice of a Big 4/ mid-tier accounting firm

- Strong technical tax   expertise   across compliance engagements,   and preferably using   OneSourc e   but not essential

- Advisory   exposure to a range of clients, ideally including cross-border structures, financing   arrangements   and transactions

- Strong client advisory   and stakeholder management   skills

- A collaborative approach with a passion for mentoring junior team members and continuing to develop your leadership capability
