Your role in our team:
- Responsibility within a global commodity for product related material (PRM) for different CLAAS plants (Hungary and abroad).
- Managing all purchasing activities in alignment with the global strategy of Commodity Gearboxes as well as in connection with internal stakeholders within CLAAS.
- Coordination and control of all product-related strategic purchasing activities.
- Cross functional collaboration.
- Professional preparation and independent implementation of purchasing negotiations up to the conclusion of the contract, including drafting of development and framework supply contracts.
- Supporting the achievement of C-Q-D (Cost-Quality-Delivery) goals in development projects through the early integration of high-performance suppliers.
- Follow up and steering of supplier performance.
- Observation and analysis of the global procurement market and the derivation of potential as well as cost reduction measures in collaboration with the internal company interfaces.
Your profile:
- Completed studies, preferably in the field of business administration/industrial engineering.
- Three to five years of professional experience in strategic purchasing as well as in depth knowledge of contract law.
- Skills and experience in project management, as well as a high technical affinity.
- Comprehensive experience in negotiations.
- Very good entrepreneurial and analytical thinking skills as well as an independent, flexible and efficient way of working.
- Act confidently at internal and external management levels.
- Experience in working together in an interdisciplinary and intercultural environment.
- Very good communication and teamwork skills as well as business fluent English skills.
- Confident use of MS Office and SAP.
- Strong willingness to travel.
