POSITION SUMMARY

The Quality Control Technician monitors and analyzes production quality data to identify issues, support corrective actions, and ensure compliance with established quality standards. This role supports quality improvement initiatives, manages quality documentation and reporting, verifies the effectiveness of corrective actions, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to maintain product quality and drive continuous improvement.

- RESPONSIBILITIES

- Gather and analyze quality data; initiate and follow up on proactive corrective actions with other parties to continuously improve quality performance.

- Lead Yield/OATF and QIP meetings in support of the Quality Engineer.

- Release and/or review Purging Notices, Quality Alerts for in-process or customer issues, MRB, RMA, ECO, ePBR LRS, and WIS.

- Raise Stop Build/Ship Notices for in-process issues.

- Follow up on root-cause analysis and containment actions for problems released under Hold Shipment Notices.

- Prepare regular quality reports (Yield/OATF) and other related reports in support of the Quality Engineer.

- Support the Quality Engineer in the NPI handover. Review and revise quality plans and provide other required deliverables.

- Work with the transfer team on the qualification of transfer products from other sites.

- Monitor transfer activities, build completion, and generate reports for transfer qualification.

- Prepare burn-in test yield data regularly and recommend improvements for reduction.

- Generate, maintain, and submit required data regularly for TL9000 and/or other reports related to certification bodies. Review with the Quality Engineer.

- Verify corrective actions and their effectiveness for line issues.

- Ensure that containment actions for in-process or customer issues are implemented correctly through spot audits and data monitoring.

Qualifications

- Technology graduate or Bachelor's degree in college graduate in Engineering, Science or any related technical field

- At least 1 year technical work experience

- Knowledge on the Basic Statistical Process Control (SPC), Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA) and Basic Problem Solving Technique , Reliability and Risk Assessment, 8D/RCCA Generation
