About this role

JOB PURPOSE

Aviation Planner will independently manage and deliver airport master planning and infrastructure planning assignments. The role involves end-to-end ownership of planning deliverables, ensuring compliance with aviation standards and alignment with operational and project objectives. This is an individual contributor role without team handling responsibility.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsibilities

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Prepare airport master plans, feasibility studies, and planning deliverables

Timely completion of deliverables as per project timelines

Develop airside, landside, and terminal planning layouts

Accuracy and compliance with ICAO/IATA/DGCA standards

Conduct demand assessments and capacity analysis of airside / landside facilities

Quality and reliability of analysis with minimal rework

Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and planning standards

Zero or minimal design/approval deviations

Perform simulation modelling using AviPLAN, AirTOP and other similar tools

Accuracy and effectiveness of simulation outputs

Coordinate with internal teams (projects, engineering, architecture design, connectivity)

Smooth coordination and alignment across functions

Engage with external stakeholders (authorities, consultants, airlines, ground handling companies)

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Architecture / Urban Planning / Aviation Management

- CAD Design Courses

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

- 8–12 years of experience in airport planning / aviation projects
