Porcaro Ford is looking for a Quick Lane Service Advisor who enjoys helping customers, stays organized, and wants to build a career in automotive service.

Youll help customers with oil changes, tires, inspections, and routine maintenance—from greeting them at check-in to explaining completed work at pickup. This role primarily supports Quick Lane, with occasional assistance in the main service department.

Automotive experience is preferred, but were also interested in applicants with strong customer service skills and a willingness to learn.

What Youll Do

- Greet customers and document their vehicle concerns and maintenance requests

- Create accurate repair orders for oil changes, tire services, inspections, and other maintenance

- Review technician findings and clearly explain recommended services

- Prepare estimates and obtain customer approval before additional work begins

- Coordinate with technicians and communicate realistic completion times

- Keep customers updated on vehicle status, pricing, and any changes

- Review completed services and charges with customers at pickup

- Maintain organized customer records and follow through on open items

- Help customers understand upcoming maintenance needs

- Work with the service team to keep daily operations running smoothly

What Were Looking For

- Strong customer service and communication skills

- Good organization and attention to detail

- Ability to manage multiple customer visits and follow-ups

- Comfort using computers and learning service software

- Dependable attendance and a team-oriented attitude

- Interest in vehicles and a willingness to learn about automotive maintenance

- Ability to explain recommendations professionally and without pressuring customers

Experience as a service advisor, service writer, or in a tire shop, quick-lube shop, or automotive parts store is a plus. Applicants with retail, hospitality, or other customer-facing experience are also encouraged to apply.

Compensation

Hourly compensation based on experience and qualifications. Starting pay and any available performance bonus opportunities will be discussed during the interview.

Schedule

Full-time. Specific hours and Saturday scheduling will be discussed during the interview.
