Join our Inpatient Rehabilitation team at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, a high-acuity hub serving Macomb County's vibrant and fast-growing communities. Located near the beautiful Lake St. Clair, our facility offers a blend of suburban comfort and easy access to Detroit. Role Overview

As a Physical Therapist - Staff, you will play a vital role in evaluating and diagnosing movement dysfunctions, implementing interventions to promote mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. Your expertise will directly impact patient recovery and quality of life, supporting individuals in their journey to regain independence and improve their overall well-being.

What You Will Do

- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to diagnose movement dysfunctions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote mobility and reduce pain.
- Restore function and prevent disability through evidence-based interventions.
- Successfully complete the FIM certification exam within 90 days of hire and annually thereafter.

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy with 5 years of experience OR Master's/Doctorate degree from a CAPTE-accredited program.
- Current State of Michigan licensure.
- Current CPR certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire).

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation settings.
- Familiarity with FIM scoring and certification processes.

Additional Information

Experience in Acute Care Physical Therapy is preferred. Experience in Inpatient Rehabilitation is a plus. Role REQUIRES  2 WEEKEND DAY coverage a month and 2 HOLIDAYS a year.
