Role Overview
As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting Physical Therapists to deliver treatments that enhance patient mobility, alleviate pain, and prevent or reduce physical disabilities. Your work directly contributes to improving the lives of patients in our inpatient rehabilitation setting, helping them regain independence and achieve their health goals.

What You Will Do
- Assist Physical Therapists in providing treatments to improve patient mobility and relieve pain.
- Support patients in preventing or lessening physical disabilities through tailored interventions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Complete FIM certification exams within 90 days of hire and annually thereafter, achieving a score of at least 80%.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- Physical Therapist Assistant Associate¿s degree from a CAPTE-accredited program.
- Current State of Michigan licensure.
- Current CPR certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire).
