About this role

Catalyx
is seeking an experienced Business Development leader to spearhead the growth
of our Professional & Managed Services portfolio in the US. This is a
senior role, and we are looking for a candidate who brings both hands-on sales
experience and the ability to operate at a strategic, relationship-driven
level.

Responsibilities

· Build and execute a structured
territory and account development plan.

· Identify high-potential
pharmaceutical, biotechnology and life sciences organizations, sites and
programs.

· Develop new relationships with
senior stakeholders across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Automation,
Operations, Procurement, HR and other relevant functions.

· Prospect consistently and
confidently through telephone, email, LinkedIn, industry events, referrals and
face-to-face networking.

· Secure meetings with new
stakeholders and turn those conversations into qualified opportunities.

· Map large global pharmaceutical
accounts to identify opportunities beyond Catalyx's existing relationships.

· Leverage existing Catalyx
customer relationships to expand into additional sites, functions and
geographies.

· Develop relationships from
initial introduction through discovery, proposal, negotiation and close.

· Identify opportunities to move
customers from individual resource requirements towards larger FSP and Managed
Service solutions.

· Work closely with Catalyx
Talent and Delivery teams to ensure opportunities can be successfully
delivered.

· Collaborate with our Products
& Solutions and Automation teams to identify broader opportunities across
customer accounts.

· Maintain disciplined CRM,
pipeline management, forecasting and opportunity qualification.

· Develop a strong understanding
of customer investment programs, site expansions, capital projects and
operational challenges.

· Represent Catalyx at relevant
industry conferences, networking events and customer meetings.

Requirements

· Demonstrable success in new-business development.

· Experience selling into life sciences, ideally pharmaceutical or
biotechnology organizations.

· A strong understanding of consultative and solution-based selling.

· Evidence of personally generating and closing new business.

· A structured approach to prospecting, account planning and pipeline
development.

· Confidence engaging senior customer stakeholders.

· Strong commercial judgment and negotiation skills.

· The persistence and resilience required for enterprise business
development.

· Ability to operate independently while collaborating effectively
with delivery, talent and technical teams.

· Willingness to travel regularly across your territory to meet
customers face-to-face.
