Rough Carpenter

Skilled Trades Partners is looking for experienced Carpenters / Wood Framers to join our team and work with one of our trusted construction contractors on projects across New England.

Job Duties

- Perform residential and/or commercial wood framing
- Frame walls, floors, roofs, and other structural components
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements
- Measure, cut, and install lumber and other framing materials
- Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Ensure framing is built accurately and according to project specifications
- Work safely and maintain a clean, organized jobsite
- Work as part of a professional construction crew
- Perform other carpentry and framing duties as assigned

Requirements

- Previous carpentry and/or wood-framing experience
- Ability to read and understand construction plans is a plus
- Knowledge of framing techniques, materials, and tools
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install materials
- Reliable transportation to the jobsite
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team
- OSHA 10 certification is a plus, but not required — we provide free OSHA and safety training
