About this role

Essential Functions:

- Analyze surface weather and stratospheric wind predictions and distribute reports.

- Coordinate with FAA Understand FAA Regulation Part 101 for Unmanned Free Balloons Monitor platform health, analyze data, and troubleshoot problems.

- Provide support for engineering tests.

- Complete summer end internship presentation.

- Demonstrated the guiding principles of Aerostar.

May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.

Education and Experience:

- College student or recent graduate in a STEM field.

- Prior aviation and/or military experience preferred.

- Travel may be required, potentially up to 40% of the time.

- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously Ability to work with high level of confidentiality.

- Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office.

Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
