Position Overview
- Shoot Smart is seeking a Facilities Support Technician to assist with general maintenance operations across multiple indoor shooting range locations. This entry-level position supports facility upkeep, preventative maintenance activities, and basic repairs to help maintain safe and reliable operations. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build hands-on experience in facilities maintenance while working across a variety of building systems and environments.
What You’ll Do
- Perform general facility maintenance and basic repairs across multiple locations.
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks and scheduled inspections.
- Assist with facility upkeep, cleaning, organization, and work area maintenance.
- Respond to work orders and service requests as assigned.
- Support repairs involving facility equipment, fixtures, and infrastructure.
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.
- Document completed work using the company CMMS system.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- May assist with:
- Basic HVAC maintenance and filter replacement.
- Minor plumbing repairs
General mechanical repairs
Grounds and facility upkeep
Brass and lead reclamation support activities
What We’re Looking For
- 0–2 years of maintenance, construction, or related experience preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow direction and complete assigned tasks independently.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Experience using CMMS software is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical work for extended periods.
- Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment.
