Material Handler - Forklift

SUMMARY:       This position reports to the Supervisor of the department.  The successful applicant will be supporting all Production and Warehouse areas as a Material Handler.

ROLE:                      
- Perform all duties according to the OHSA&R and Company Policies.
- Conducts required checks to ensure accuracy of part identification where required.
- Pick and stage material for Production and stores material in the designated warehouse areas.
- Pick and deliver packaging, bins, dunnage, racks, and related products to other departments as required by the relevant department managers.
- Advise of shortage in materials/goods to satisfy Production needs.
- Takes part and supports cycle count activities.
- Notifies Supervisor of damages/defects or other serious occurrences related to materials, equipment and facility.
- Performs housekeeping, clean-up and other 5 S related activities as required.
- Any other duties as assigned.

- Able to follow material handling and inventory procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with Active Dynamics Component Parts.
- Minimum grade 12 or equivalent education.
- Written & oral aptitude in English.
- Mathematical aptitude.
- Conscientious and punctual.
- Require Lift truck license.

VACANCIES:   1 Afternoon Shift (3:30pm-12 am)        
                                
RATE:                $24.58
- $24.83 - Subject to assessment of skills and qualifications by Active following a 60 working days probationary period
- Shifts may vary
