Position Overview:
The Equipment Operator will work as part of a team to provide superior service and stakeholder satisfaction through responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the glycol concentrators and all other processing equipment while abiding by Inlands policies and procedures.
- ### Monitor glycol processing equipment units to assure optimum production and efficiency;
- ### Maintain glycol processing equipment as per Inland’s maintenance manuals and SOP’s in order to perform any and all maintenance functions as directed by management;
- ### Complete and distribute daily glycol processing equipment production reports neatly and accurately;
- ### Perform quality assurance sampling of all production processes at regular intervals during shifts, by using correct sampling protocol as established by Inland SOP’s;
- ### Abide by Health and Safety principles by using issued and available safety equipment as required by SOP’s in the day-by-day operations of the facility;
- ### Keep all Inland owned or managed equipment, tools and materials in good working condition; including keeping clean and returning to assigned storage areas when not in use;
- ### Recommend potential process improvement to management;
- ### Complete necessary repairs when needed on a timely basis such as; replacing parts, blowers, plumbing new lines and re-plumbing old lines, installing valves, meters, sensors, etc.;
- ### Work cooperatively with airport authority and outside contractor(s) while representing yourself in the best image for the company;
- ### Ensure that the processing equipment and associated recycling equipment are continually inspected and maintained in proactive manner;
- ### Perform product quality testing and ensure accurate reporting and accounting;
- ### Required to assist with general maintenance on concentrators as directed by management – this includes but not limited to removing heat exchanger plates, installing clean heat exchanger plates, changing filter, install/replace insulation, clean cyclones, clean area in around and under concentrators, replace parts as required, cleaning heat exchanger plates;
- ### Maintain facility cleanliness and appearance including garbage removal, disposal of filter bags, washroom cleaning and restocking and other general cleaning requirements;
- ### Diligently execute any and all other job-related duties assigned by management.

Required Skills and Experience:
- ### High school diploma or equivalent;
- ### Ability to work independently showing good judgement;
- ### Basic computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel);
- ### Ability to read, write, speak and communicate effectively;
- ### Ability to interpret documents including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals;
- ### General mechanical competence and ability to effectively use hand tools;
- ### Ability to maintain a positive and good-natured attitude;
- ### Ability to remain calm and perform under pressure within fixed tie constraints.

Certifications/Licenses:
- ### Legally entitled to work in Canada;
- ### RAIC and AVOP considered an asset - may be required for specific job functions.

Work Environment:
- ### The position primarily will be indoor work with some limited outdoor field work. The equipment operator will be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, warm and sometimes humid indoor temperatures, outside weather conditions, mild fumes or airborne particles and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud requiring the use of PPE. There may be times when employees will be required to work outside of their normal work schedule, so that we may meet the needs of our customers and/or operational requirements.

Physical Demands:
- ## It is expected that the candidate be physically fit and able to perform all operational requirements;
- ### Regularly required to stand/walk for extended periods of time as well as bending, kneeling, climbing, using hands to control tools and feel objects, reaching with hands and arms;
- ### Must be able to use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms;
- ### Must be able to speak clearly and hear efficiently;
- ### Must occasionally lift and/or move up to, in excess of 50lbs;
- ### Must have the ability to work at heights up to 12 feet;
- ### may be required to move, connect, disconnect hoses and be able to operate industrial valves and perform general labor duties;
- ### Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
- ### This is a full-time seasonal position with an average of 84 hours bi weekly. Due to the seasonal nature of our business, and the direct impact of weather on our operation, hours of work are to be flexible with additional hours possibly required during certain weather events.
