Welder Fitter MIG & TIG Welding for Aluminum and Steel

Job Description:
 
Custom manufacturing company located in New Castle, DE, is seeking experienced part-time and full-time Welders/Fitters to join our team. This day-shift role includes full-time benefits, hands-on custom fabrication work, and the opportunity to use MIG and TIG welding skills on aluminum and steel in a drug-free workplace.
 
Duties and responsibilities:
·         MIG and TIG welding of aluminum and steel
·         Fabricate and fit standard and custom parts
·         Jig set up
·         Work on other shop equipment such as manual mills, press-brake, saws, sanders, panel saws, drills, etc.
·         Maintain a high level of production while maintaining quality
·         Must be able to work un-supervised and maintain productivity
·         Respond to quick turn-around orders some overtime required
·         Perform well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
·         Maintain and clean equipment and work area
·         Perform related duties as assigned
 
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications:
·         Trade school graduate, or equivalent.
·         5 years’ experience MIG & TIG welding aluminum & steel
·         Certified Welder a plus
·         Must be able to read prints & ACCURATELY read a tape measure
·         Must have reliable transportation
·         Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform related duties and responsibilities of this job, including lifting to 75 lbs.
·         Must pass welding test
