About this role
- Manage and supervise branch employees, responsible for day-to-day supervision and leadership.
- Maintain and oversee all banking procedures and processes.
- Communicate and implement company-wide directives and changes to banking operations.
- Recruiting, vetting, interviewing, and hiring new employees.
- Provide training, coaching, development, and motivation for bank personnel.
- Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
- Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly.
- Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective business opportunities.
- Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company.
- Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulations/applicable laws.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of banking experience required.
- 3+ years of experience managing personnel required.
- Established knowledge of the Bellville or Austin County market strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field preferred.
- Leadership and human resources management skills.
- Advanced knowledge of banking and finance best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem solving skills, task organizational skills, and a high level of initiative.
- Able to move up to 50 pounds and able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
- Good vision (correctable), hearing, and manual dexterity.
- Able to work a flexible Monday through Friday schedule, occasional holidays and/or weekends.
