PrideStaff is seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Production Planner to join a growing operations and supply chain team in the Pasco County area.
In this role, you will be responsible for balancing customer demand with production capacity, managing daily manufacturing schedules, and ensuring smooth material flow. You will work closely with customer service, production supervisors, and engineering teams to ensure on-time delivery and optimal operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze manufacturing input and output continuously to identify bottlenecks, optimize production schedules, and minimize set-up times.
Coordinate with customer service and supply chain teams to provide reliable delivery dates, handle expedites, and resolve past-due orders.
Maintain clear insight into operational activities across manufacturing departments to ensure accurate scheduling.
Collaborate with production supervisors to investigate material or operational reporting discrepancies and implement solutions.
Participate in cross-functional material review discussions to schedule rework, replacement orders, and product revisions.
Assist engineering and operations teams in scheduling materials and workflows for new prototype builds and product introductions.
Utilize capacity management techniques and visual tracking tools to align workflow with plant capabilities.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required; an Associate or Bachelor's degree is a plus.
2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing inventory control.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and visual management practices such as Kanban.
Strong knowledge of inventory control concepts, capacity planning, and shop floor control functions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong sense of urgency and problem-solving ability.
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $50,000.00 - $55,000.00
