JOB TITLE: Tournament Traveler – Bowling Ball Express Associate
LOCATION: Tournament Site ( Las Vegas, NV or Mooresville, NC)

REPORTS TO : Bowling Ball Express Supervisor
WORK HOURS: Varying shifts are scheduled seven days per week based on tournament operations. The ability to work early in the mornings, late in the evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours is required.
POSITION SUMMARY:
USBC is seeking dedicated, service - minded individuals to join our tournament team as a Bowling Ball Express A ssociate. Bowling Ball Express team members support the operation of a premier shipping and receiving center, providing essential services including the receipt, storage, and shipment of bowling equipment for athletes, vendors, and tournament venues. Bowling Ball Express A ssociates play a vital role in ensuring the smooth logistics and overall success of USBC Championship events.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receiving — Unload and coordinate the storage and distribution of customer, vendor, or tournament equipment and supplies.
- Storage Management — Safely store bowling balls and related gear in designated areas while maintaining organization and accessibility.
- Shipping — Package and schedule shipments of customer, vendor, or tournament equipment and supplies.
- Financial Transactions — Process comps, incentives, and POS sales and records accurately.
- Regularly participate in scheduled meetings and huddles and keep tournament leaders informed of department activities.
- Lockers — Provide locker service, including maintenance and customer assistance, as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS :
• Knowledge of WorldShip programs.
• Strong customer service skills, with a service-minded and engaged approach.
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to speak clearly and confidently.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to stay focused and complete tasks accurately in a distraction-filled environment.
• Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive participant, financial, personnel, scoring, and operational information.
• Proficiency with computer and communication systems, including PCs, POS systems, phones, and two-way radios.
EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS :
- High school diploma or equivalent continuing education.
- Shipping, receiving, and inventory experience.
- Forklift experience.
- Must maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance due to frequent contact with guests, clients, and support staff.
- Adaptable and flexible approach to changing operational needs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
- Must be able to work in an occasionally noisy environment with potential short-term exposure to non-toxic fumes.
- Must be mobile as well as sit or stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to repetitively lift up to 65 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
TRAVEL: T his position requires the employee to be on-site for the Ch ampionships ; relocation may be required for up to six months at a time .
