This is not a traditional sales role.
You'll partner with leading aerospace OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, defense contractors, and space innovators to identify opportunities, solve technical challenges, and bring advanced sensing and connectivity solutions to market. You'll serve as the vital link between customers and our engineering, quality, operations, and leadership teams, helping shape the future of aerospace technologies.

What You'll Do
Drive Strategic Growth
- Build and expand relationships with aerospace OEMs, engine manufacturers, Tier 1 integrators, and defense and space organizations.
- Develop account growth strategies that increase market share and drive long-term revenue.
- Identify new opportunities across commercial aviation, military, defense, and space programs.
- Lead customer reviews, strategic planning discussions, and business development initiatives.
Become a Trusted Technical Advisor
- Work directly with customers to understand complex technical requirements.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and aerospace standards to develop winning solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams on RFQs, product evaluations, and qualification programs.
- Support customers through application development, qualification activities, and ongoing program execution.
Influence Market Strategy
- Monitor aerospace, defense, and space industry trends.
- Provide competitive insights and recommendations that shape business strategy.
- Help develop compelling value propositions, pricing strategies, and customer presentations.
Collaborate Across the Organization
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer outcomes.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and program status updates.
Support strategic initiatives that contribute to long-term Aerospace Business Unit growth
Qualifications
What Makes You Stand Out
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; technical degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, account management, applications engineering, or a related technical commercial role.
- Strong ability to build customer relationships and develop new business opportunities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience working with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage multiple complex programs and priorities in a dynamic environment.
- U.S. Person status required due to ITAR-controlled program content.
Preferred Qualifications
- Aerospace, defense, or space industry experience.
- Experience supporting OEM or Tier 1 customer programs.
- Knowledge of qualification processes, aerospace standards, and program management principles.
- Familiarity with ITAR/EAR requirements.
The total compensation provided consists of 80% base pay plus a center point of 20%.

Salary ranges for this position vary by job location and are determined based on experience, reflecting our commitment to recognizing individual expertise and contributions.
Successful Candidate must be able to meet U.S. export control requirements (ITAR/EAR) to gain access to technical data.
