Job Description

FLINT is seeking a Pipefitter Lead Hand with strong hands-on experience in piping installation and hydrostatic testing for a permanent role in Clairmont (Grande Prairie), Alberta starting end of September, 2026. In this position, you will enjoy a 12 Days In & 2 Days Out schedule, 10-hour workdays, and benefits after 300+ hours worked.

This position does not include camp accommodations, living out allowance, or travel allowance. Therefore, it is best suited for local candidates ; however, those willing to travel or relocate at their own expense are also encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

- Previous Lead Hand or supervisory experience in an industrial construction or maintenance environment.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience with pipe installation, fitting, assembly, and alignment.
- Demonstrated experience with hydrostatic testing of piping systems.
- Valid Journeyperson Pipefitter certificate/ticket.
- The following safety tickets are considered an asset: H2S Alive
- Standard First Aid
- WHMIS

- Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
- Must have own reliable transportation to site.
- Valid driver’s license and clean 5-year Driver’s Abstract with under 6 demerits.

Additional Information

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
