About this role

POSITION PURPOSE

PTS Corp is seeking an HR Assistant w ho is responsible for the daily administrative and HR duties of an organization. They assist with recruitment and record maintenance for payroll processing as well as provide clerical support to all employees .

DUTIES: (include but not limited to)

Essential Functions

- Assisting with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties

- Providing clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives

- Compiling and updating employee records (hard and soft copies)

- Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc)

- Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc) and take minutes

- Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations

- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc)

- Communicate with public services when necessary

- Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures

- Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews

- Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees

- Recruit and source candidates and update our database

- A ssist in development implementation and evaluation of recruitment and selection activities including the planning, coordination, and performance of recruitment programs and activities.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS

Experience & Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of general Human Resources experience

- Strong project management skills to include process improvement programs and procedures, product knowledge experience a plus

- Ability to see, speak, hear, write, and understand English.

- Sustained attention to detail.

- Proficient computer skills including e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software required.

- Proven experience as an HR Assistant or relevant human resources/administrative position

- Hands-on experience with an HRIS or HRMS

- Familiarity with ATS software and resume databases

- Excellent organizational skills

- Ability to read and analyze data and other written information.

- Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.

- Ability to react to change productively and succeed in a demanding, dynamic, fast-moving organization

- Must be flexible to work extended hours when needed and modified shifts to support site events and activities

- Minimal physical exertion.

WORKING CONDITIONS

- General climate-controlled environment.

- Low noise level.

- Meeting schedule deadlines.

WORKING HOURS:  Per shift assignment with additional hours as necessary to meet

production demands.
