ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
As a Deputy / ERZ Controller, you’ll play a key role in the safe, efficient and successful operation of our crew. You’ll lead from the front, managing people and equipment to deliver planned work activities, achieve operational targets and uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance.
This is a hands-on leadership role where your experience, judgement and ability to bring people together will make a real difference every day. You’ll set the standard, support your team to perform at their best and ensure all statutory obligations and mine standards are met.
ABOUT YOU
- QLD OR NSW – 3rd Class/ ERZ Controller Certificate of Competency (willingness to undergo mutual recognition if COC obtained in NSW).
- G189 (previously S123) & G2 or willingness to obtain.
- Lead and prioritise daily activities with the crew to achieve operational targets.
- Set a positive example through visible, accountable and safety-focused leadership.
- Develop your people by setting clear performance expectations and providing regular, constructive feedback.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory requirements, mine standards and inspection obligations.
