About this role

Position Summary:
The Estimator is responsible for creating accurate quotations for preventative fire asset services. This role combines technical estimation with essential administrative tasks. The primary focus is on estimation (70–80% of the role) while also offering support in documentation, invoicing, and maintaining records using our asset software.

Job Details:

- Work Set Up: The role begins with an on-site training. Once training is complete, the position can be performed from home.

- Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Perth/Manila time).

- Holidays Followed: The position follows Australian public holidays. There is a shutdown towards the end of the year (Dec 21 to Jan 4, 2026) During this time you need to use your leaves to offset the non-holiday days.

- Training Details: The training program includes approximately two weeks of remote online training to cover asset software, videos, and assessments, followed by 1 to 1.5 weeks of on-site training. Additional refresher onsite sessions may be provided every six months as needed.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare service defect quotations accurately and within the set tolerance levels.

- Complete general (non-defect) service quotations promptly following the company pricing structure.

- Ensure technicians’ defect notes are clear, correct, and legible; escalate issues to the appropriate supervisors or managers when needed.

- Process repairs and callout task invoicing in line with company targets.

- Provide general administrative support, including handling emails, scheduling tasks, and compiling reports.

- Maintain and update site information and contacts in the FSS asset software.

- Support the leadership team and other departments to help achieve overall service excellence.

Qualifications:

- 3 to 5 years of experience in estimation , preferably in the fire protection or preventative fire services field .

- Strong communication skills and the ability to interpret defect reports and technician notes accurately.

- Familiarity with estimating software, especially “uptick.”

- Experience with soft asset software is a plus.

- Willingness to participate in both remote and on-site training sessions and adapt to a hybrid work role.
