The Senior Business Intelligence
QA Tester is responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of
enterprise reporting, analytics, and data integration solutions. This role
focuses on testing Tableau dashboards, SSRS reports, and SSIS data
integration processes to ensure business requirements are met and data
quality is maintained throughout the reporting lifecycle. The position works
closely with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, BI Developers, and business
stakeholders to identify defects, validate data integrity, and support the
successful delivery of business intelligence solutions. The Senior BI QA Tester
also drives testing standards, promotes best practices, and contributes to
continuous improvements in data quality and reporting reliability.

Technical Skills

- Extensive
experience testing Tableau dashboards and analytics solutions.
- Strong
experience validating SSRS reports and report subscriptions.
- Experience
testing SSIS packages , ETL workflows , and data movement
processes.
- Advanced SQL skills for data validation, reconciliation, and root cause
analysis.
- Experience
working with data warehouses, relational databases, and dimensional data
models.
- Strong
understanding of data integration, ETL, ELT , and reporting
architectures.
- Experience
using Azure DevOps for test management, defect tracking, and Agile
delivery support.
- Experience
with API validation and interface testing is desirable.
- Familiarity
with Microsoft SQL Server, Azure Data Services, and cloud-based BI
platforms.

to analyse complex business requirements and translate them into detailed
test scenarios.

reporting issues.

developing BI testing strategies, standards, and best practices.

management.

Experience Requirements

- Typically, 10+ years of QA experience, with at least 2+ years in a senior or lead
role.

track record of delivering high-quality releases in complex systems.

Preferred Certifications

- STQB
Foundation or Advanced Certification.
- Microsoft
Data Platform or Azure Data certifications.
- Tableau
Desktop Specialist or Tableau Certified Professional.
- Certified
Software Quality Analyst (CSQA).

- Experience
testing enterprise-scale reporting and analytics platforms.
