The
role of Senior Legal Counsel provides pragmatic, commercial and risk-based
legal advice to support the company’s technology, digital transformation,
outsourcing and managed services business. The role requires partnership with
the business to enable growth while managing legal, regulatory and reputational
risk.

This is a hybrid role with
occasional office presence required in our London office.

What you will be doing:

- Commercial Contracting - Draft, review and negotiate customer, supplier and partner agreements, supporting complex technology transactions.
- Technology and Regulatory Advice - Advising on technology law matters including safe adoption of AI tools, Intellectual property, Data protection and privacy and Cyber security.
- Procurement and Public Sector Support - Advising on public procurement law and procurement processes and supporting bids.
- Company Secretarial /Corporate Governance - Experience with company boards, minute taking, filings with Companies House, Corporate Governance (large private entity) and M&A
- Legal Department Operations - Self-service for business and Document standardisation
- Stakeholder Engagement - Build strong relationships with business leaders across sales, procurement, delivery, finance, HR, security and operations and participate in commercial and operational decision making.
- Governance and Risk Management - Identifying and managing legal and regulatory risks and supporting corporate governance initiatives.

What you’ll bring:

- Qualified
to practise law in the UK or in another common law jurisdiction,
- Registered
Lawyer with at least four years’ experience
- Experience
of technology and / or digital transformation is essential.
- General
commercial legal counsel experience
- Previous experience of legal practice involving public sector contracts is desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management, including
internal clients, opposition stakeholders and external supporting law
firms.

Salary: Competitive depending on experience
