3rd shift: Sunday - Monday 11:00PM - 7:30AM - must have flexibility to attend meetings and help with issues as needed.
Purpose of the Position:
Manage day to day operation of part production. Ensures achievement of company objectives by delegating authority to key supervisors in production. Responsible for production, staffing, training, safety, methods, processes and maintenance. Will be accountable for production department quality control as directed by Quality Control Department.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Helps direct all manufacturing operations
- Manages utilization of equipment, facilities, and personnel to obtain maximum efficiency and meet performance objectives
- Controls and acts as project leader on significant manufacturing projects
- Implements company policies such as attendance, overtime, shifts, safety, and continual improvement
- Drive accountability with production leaders and their team members
- Meet or exceed Production planning schedule
- Adhere to all quality requirements including control plans and process flows
- Improvement of work instructions and ensure employee follows standard work instructions
- Any additional responsibilities as directed by Management
- Takes on additional responsibilities as needed, and as directed by management
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an automotive manufacturing environment preferably injection molding
- Understanding basic injection molding concepts
- Willingness to learning troubleshooting, and repair of injection molding machines (Nissei,and Sumitomo)
- Previous experience in a leadership role
- Possess established leadership abilities along with organizational and communication skills
- Experience with ERP, MRP and Shop floor control
- Must be detail minded, analytical and deadline oriented.
- Needs to be a self-starter and work without direct supervision.
- Must be able to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner.
- US Driver’s License Required

Temperature controlled facility, office, and plant floor conditions
