Overview

Join the family at AM 570 & 102.3 FM The Mission/WMCA and AM 970 The Answer/WNYM. As a PT Master Control Operator, you steer the ship of our programming on both stations. You will be overseeing programs, both live and pre-recorded and ensuring our stations are running effectively.

This is a technical position with a lot of moving parts all made possible by your pivotal role. This is an entry-level, hands-on position that is crucial to both stations.

We offer full training to ensure your skills will be effective in the #1 radio market.

Hours: Possible Shifts: 6a-2p / 2p-10p / Mon – Fri / Sat & Sun

Responsibilities

- Overseeing programming for timing on AM 570 & 102.3 FM The Mission / AM 970 The Answer

- Downloading programs via FTP and websites, loading programs into WideOrbit Audio, and audio editing with both Adobe Audition and Audacity

- Recording interviews and other content for later programming use

- Ensuring all spots, and programs play at their contracted times

- Conducting EAS tests, troubleshooting any off-air situations

- Comfortable dealing with clients, Air Talent, and station personnel

- Assisting other departments such as Production, by engineering pre-recorded and live shows, editing, and posting of podcasts – assembling Best Of’s and other necessary tasks for station needs – assisting Promotions, with station events

- Running board for live studio programs and call screening as needed

- Other duties as required depending on station needs

Qualifications

Computer based audio editing experience such as Adobe Audition or Audacity

Knowledge of WideOrbit audio a plus

## Compensation
$17 to $20 per hour
