We are looking for a Yard Operative to join our team and help maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our site. This role is vital to ensuring food safety, health & safety compliance, and operational efficiency.
Location: Bridgwater - TA6 6DF
Contract Type: Full time – Permanent (39 hours per week)
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 08:00-16:00
Salary: £12.37 per hour(Overtime rate 1.5 x base rate)

What you’ll do:
- Keep external yard areas clean and hazard-free, including washing bays and designated zones.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively (e.g., pressure washers, hoses).
- Carry out litter picking and waste removal promptly.
- Complete daily safety walks and report any hazards or maintenance issues.
- Record cleaning activities and communicate concerns to the Shift Lead.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in industrial or food production hygiene roles (preferred).
- Knowledge of health & safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physically fit for outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
