Key Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting functions, including general ledger, AP/AR, purchasing, payroll, tax, and financial reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Review financial statements, reconciliations, journal entries, and supporting schedules
- Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
- Monitor cash flow and provide financial metrics and projections to the CFO
- Support budgeting, forecasting, tax compliance, and special projects
- Oversee biweekly payroll, payroll taxes, reconciliations, and year-end reporting
- Assist with system implementations and company-wide initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- CPA strongly preferred
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership or management responsibility
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, payroll, taxation, and internal controls
- Self-starter who takes initiative and full ownership of the accounting function
- Organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, team-oriented approach

Full-time, in-office position, Monday - Friday
