Compliance and Risk Management Specialist 2 - QI Department (Middletown)

Position: Compliance and Risk Management Specialist 2

Salary: $65,000-75,000/year

The Connection is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Compliance and Risk Management Specialist 2 to support agency-wide compliance, risk management, insurance, contract administration, licensing, and audit activities. This position plays a key role in maintaining critical organizational systems related to contracts, grants, properties, insurance, records management, and regulatory compliance while helping ensure adherence to internal policies and external requirements.

The successful candidate will coordinate compliance and risk management processes, support insurance renewals and claims management, assist with external audits and corrective action plans, oversee records request and document retention processes, and collaborate with program leadership to monitor operational and regulatory compliance. The role also provides support for quality improvement initiatives, policy development, and risk prevention activities across the organization.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least five years of relevant compliance or risk management experience, or a master's degree and two years of relevant experience. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are required. Experience with insurance administration, audits, regulatory compliance, and data management systems is preferred.

Orientation:
