Plant Production Associate – 1st Shift

Location: Oberlin, OH
Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Summary

We are hiring Plant Production Associates for a full-time, 1st shift position in Oberlin, OH. This is a hands-on role supporting plant production, order preparation, shipping, and general facility operations.

Responsibilities

- Plant and pot seedlings and plants
- Fill, label, organize, and move trays and products
- Prepare and assemble customer orders for shipment
- Attach hangers to baskets and move products using ladders
- Move plants and materials using carts
- Load and unload trucks and conveyor systems
- Lift and carry products weighing up to 20 lbs.
- Push and pull carts weighing up to 200 lbs.
- Assist with irrigation systems and water lines
- Use basic hand tools such as shovels, shears, and clippers
- Clean and maintain work areas, buildings, and equipment
- Follow all safety procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

- Previous nursery, manufacturing, agricultural, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to push and pull carts weighing up to 200 lbs.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in hot or cold temperatures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions
- Reliable transportation and good attendance
- Positive attitude and willingness to work
