Spectrum is seeking a Senior Director, Technology Strategy to define and drive our technology roadmap for Technology Strategy & Innovation (TSI) organization, partnering with senior executives across the company to shape the future of Spectrum’s technology portfolio. As a champion of impactful strategy, your expertise will elevate our TSI technology ecosystem and deliver measurable business results.

Responsibilities

How You’ll Make an Impact

- Define and execute technology strategies that align Spectrum’s portfolio to market success

- Collaborate with technology and product leaders to develop enterprise-wide technology strategies across a range of relevant domains, including wireless and wireline networks

- Provide strategic guidance for major TSI initiatives, including emerging technology development, competitive assessment, and strategic opportunity development

- Recommend and implement strategies for competitive positioning and technology development, including quantitative and qualitative analysis

- Translate complex business challenges into solutions across technology-focused strategic initiatives

- Lead, mentor and develop high-performing teams, recruiting and coaching leaders and staff to maximize their potential

- Manage budgets, prioritize initiatives and reinforce customer service and business ethics across the department

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum

- A grounding in the technology and market dynamics of major communications service providers

- A strategic mindset, ability to listen and learn, develop productive cross-functional relationships, and lead teams through complex topics to productive outcomes

Required Qualifications

- Technology familiarity or training in wireless and wireline connectivity

- Knowledge of cable industry services and communications market dynamics in the United States

- Quantitative analytic skills, including Excel-based modeling

- Presentation and communication capabilities, including expert use of PowerPoint

- AI tool familiarity to accelerate research, analysis, and outputs

Education

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.

Experience

- 10+ years of telecommunication industry leadership experience focused on data management, data analysis and business intelligence

Skills

- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

- Familiarity with technology and business trends to identify opportunities and threats

- Ability to leverage emerging technologies to support business needs

- Ability to influence others and build consensus in cross-functional environments

- Proven leadership of people and projects to achieve high-impact outcomes

- Effective communication skills across listening, verbal, written and presentation formats

Preferred Qualifications
