Job Title: Electric Pallet Jack Operator (2nd Shift)
Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20/hour
Location: West Columbus
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Electric Pallet Jack Operator to join our 2nd shift operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking, moving, and staging inventory throughout our fast-paced warehouse environment. Prior experience operating an electric pallet jack (riding or walkie) is required.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate an electric pallet jack to move pallets, raw materials, and finished goods throughout the facility.
Select, pick, and stage customer orders accurately according to pick lists or RF scanner systems.
Perform pre-shift safety and maintenance inspections on assigned equipment.
Load and unload trailers at receiving and shipping docks efficiently.
Maintain inventory accuracy by scanning product locations and reporting discrepancies.
Follow all company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and warehouse regulations.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: Minimum [1 year / 6 months] of proven experience operating an electric pallet jack (Rider/Walkie Stackie).
Physical Capability: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs continuously throughout an 8-hour shift.
Skills: Comfort using RF scanners, warehouse management systems (WMS), and basic math.
Attributes: Strong attention to detail, punctual, self-motivated, and able to work independently during evening hours.
Certification: Pallet jack/forklift operator certification preferred (onsite recertification provided).
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
