We are looking for a senior procurement leader to shape the next chapter of Procurement across EMEA while leading selected indirect categories globally (initially Marketing and IT).
As a member of the newly established Global Procurement Leadership Team, the position contributes to the overall direction of the function, organizational development, capability building and execution of the global procurement strategy.

In this role, you will be responsible for

Procurement Leadership
•    Establish and lead the EMEA Procurement organization, governance, operating model and multi-year roadmap, aligned with regional priorities and the global procurement strategy.
•    Act as the primary procurement partner to EMEA leadership, Technology and Global marketing leadership bringing procurement expertise into strategic and operational decisions.
•    Build procurement visibility and engagement across countries, business units, manufacturing sites and functions.

Procurement transformation 
•    Lead the EMEA procurement transformation, embedding effective category management, strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, governance and performance practices.
•    Accelerate adoption of procurement systems, analytics, data standards, digital tools and consistent ways of working.

Global Category Leadership 
•    Hold global accountability for Marketing and IT indirect categories defining category strategies, roadmaps and value opportunities.
•    Lead and develop the Marketing and IT Category Managers and strengthen cross-functional category governance.
•    Build strategic relationships with critical suppliers and lead complex sourcing and negotiations where senior sponsorship is required.
•    Deliver value beyond price through innovation, demand optimization, risk management, sustainability, service improvement and supplier performance.
•    Act as active member of Global Procurement Leadership Team, including functional strategy, organizational development, capability building and enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.

What you’ll bring:

•    Significant senior procurement experience within complex international organizations, including leadership across regional and/or global environments.
•    A track record of building or transforming procurement organizations, capabilities or operating models.
•    Strong experience in indirect procurement, global category management, strategic sourcing and supplier management.
•    Experience partnering with senior executives and influencing decisions across complex matrix organizations.
•    Demonstrated leadership of large-scale transformation, change and capability-building initiatives.
•    Strong commercial, financial and analytical judgement, with the ability to connect procurement priorities to wider business outcomes.
•    Excellent written and spoken English.

Nice to have:

•    Experience within healthcare, regulated or technology-driven industries.
•    Experience in Marketing and/or Information Technology procurement.
•    A relevant advanced degree and/or professional procurement qualification such as CIPS or CPSM.
•    Additional EMEA language capabilities.
