Job Overview
As a PCT on SMCC, youll work side‑by‑side with nurses to provide hands‑on care for surgical and medical patients. Youll assist with hygiene, mobility, vital signs, documentation, and compassionate support — including care for patients nearing the end of life. This role is ideal for someone who wants meaningful patient interaction, real clinical exposure, and a team that helps you grow.

What Youll Do
- Assist with bathing, oral care, toileting, and linens
- Support safe mobility, repositioning, and transfers
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Document patient information accurately
- This role includes exposure to bodily fluids and sensitive patient situations
- Safely lift/move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation

Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within six months
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of required PCT classes
