Nala Care is hiring dependable Overnight Caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to clients in their homes.
We are looking for reliable caregivers who are comfortable working overnight hours and can remain awake, alert, and attentive throughout the scheduled shift .
Responsibilities
- Provide overnight supervision and companionship
- Assist clients with toileting and personal-care needs throughout the night
- Assist with transfers, mobility, and repositioning as needed
- Help with bathing, grooming, and dressing when scheduled
- Provide medication reminders
- Prepare light meals or snacks when needed
- Perform light housekeeping related to client care
- Monitor clients for changes in condition or safety concerns
- Follow the client's individualized care plan
- Accurately document services provided during the shift
- Communicate important client information to Nala Care
- Use AxisCare for scheduling, documentation, and communication
Requirements
- Must be dependable and consistently report to scheduled overnight shifts
- Must be able to remain awake and attentive for the entire shift
- Comfortable providing hands-on personal care
- Must successfully complete all required background screenings
- First Aid, CPR, and Abuse & Neglect training required before being placed on the schedule
- Reliable transportation preferred
- Valid driver's license and automobile insurance required for assignments involving transportation
- Previous caregiving, CNA, home-care, assisted-living, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required for all assignments
