CASHIER / TEAM MEMBER
## Summary
The Team Member provides excellent customer service while maintaining a clean, safe,
well-stocked store and following Haag Oil policies and procedures.
Essential Duties
- ## Provide friendly, professional, and efficient customer service.
- ## Greet and Thank customers and respond to customer questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
- ## Operate the cash register and point-of-sale equipment accurately and efficiently.
- ## Handle cash, safe drops, credit cards, payouts and lottery according to company policy.
- ## Follow all company safety, security, loss-prevention, and operating procedures.
- ## Report safety hazards, accidents, incidents, and other concerns to management.
- ## Report to work on time and as scheduled.
- ## Stock, price, rotate, face, and count merchandise.
- ## Maintain clean and orderly sales areas, coolers, fountain areas, restrooms, fuel areas, and store grounds.
- ## Maintain adequate supplies and merchandise throughout the shift.
- ## Follow all company policies and applicable laws regarding beverage and tobacco sales.
- ## Assist with displays, inventory, store equipment, buildings, and grounds.
- ## Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager or Area Manager.
## Snapshot of Success
The Haag Oil Snapshot of Success establishes the daily expectations for customer
service, store appearance, cleanliness, stocking, and the sales floor and store lot. Team
Members are expected to follow these standards throughout each shift and address
areas needing attention promptly.
## Professionalism
Team Members are expected to wear the required uniform and nametag, maintain a
clean and professional appearance, provide friendly customer service, and work
cooperatively with customers, coworkers, and management.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous customer service experience helpful; we will train.
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures.
- Ability to perform basic math and handle cash accurately.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
- Ability to stand, walk, stock, and perform routine cleaning duties.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
