Bill Pearce MINI is looking for a motivated Apprentice Fast Service / Lube Technician to join our service team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a career as a professional automotive technician. Whether you are currently attending an automotive program, recently graduated from technical school, or have entry-level automotive experience and want the opportunity to advance, we are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.

Our goal is to develop the right candidate beyond basic maintenance work. You will work alongside experienced technicians while gaining hands-on experience with MINI vehicles, dealership procedures, diagnostic equipment, and factory repair processes.

What You'll Do

- Perform oil and filter services and scheduled maintenance.

- Perform tire rotations and basic tire services.

- Inspect and adjust tire pressures.

- Perform vehicle inspections and identify maintenance or safety concerns.

- Inspect brakes, tires, fluids, filters, belts, and other maintenance items.

- Replace engine and cabin air filters.

- Replace wiper blades and perform other basic maintenance services.

- Perform battery testing and replacement.

- Assist with mounting and balancing tires.

- Reset maintenance indicators following completed services.

- Perform basic repairs as your training and abilities progress.

- Complete required vehicle inspection documentation accurately.

- Create clear vehicle inspection videos for customers in accordance with dealership standards.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

- Properly maintain and care for dealership tools and equipment.

- Follow all MINI/BMW repair procedures and dealership safety standards.

- Work with experienced technicians and management to continually develop your technical skills.

- Participate in MINI/BMW factory training as assigned.

- Perform additional service and maintenance duties as your experience and certifications increase.

What We're Looking For

- Strong interest in becoming a professional automotive technician.

- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

- Must have a basic automotive repair tool set or more appropriate for performing routine maintenance and entry-level repairs.

- Dependable attendance and punctuality.

- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

- Ability to follow instructions and established repair procedures.

- Attention to detail.

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment.

- Comfortable using computers, tablets, and electronic repair information.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

- Automotive technical school education or previous automotive experience is preferred but not required.

- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.

- Ability to safely operate customer and dealership vehicles.

- Must be able to perform the physical requirements associated with automotive service work.
