Meet-on-Site Move Helpers

Liberty Moving & Storage is hiring dependable, hardworking Meeton-Site Move Helpers . This position will begin as part-time, with the opportunity to move into a full-time role based on reliability, performance, availability, and business needs.

You will report directly to assigned customer job sites instead of beginning your day at our Commack facility. Because many assignments are meet-on-site, this opportunity is especially wellsuited for candidates who live in New York City's five boroughs or surrounding communities .

Applicants must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to different job locations. Work schedules, hours, and locations will vary based on customer and operational needs.

Responsibilities

- Report directly to assigned job sites on time

- Load and unload furniture, equipment, boxes, and other items

- Protect furniture, property, and customer belongings

- Assist with packing, wrapping, assembly, and disassembly

- Follow instructions from drivers, supervisors, and crew leaders

- Work safely and professionally as part of a moving crew

- Perform physically demanding work throughout the shift

Requirements

- Reliable transportation to and from assigned job sites

- Dependable attendance and punctuality

- Ability to lift and carry heavy items safely

- Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods

- Availability for flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends when needed

- Professional attitude and ability to work well with a team

- Moving or commercial moving experience is helpful but not required
