Join our Spa team at Black Rock Oceanfront Resort!

We’re looking for a caring, skilled, and professional Spa Practitioner to join our year-round team in Ucluelet, BC. In this role, you’ll provide a range of massage and wellness treatments tailored to each guest’s needs, helping them relax and feel restored during their stay.

Our spa is part of a one-of-a-kind oceanfront setting, and we take pride in creating a warm, welcoming environment where guests feel looked after from the moment they arrive. If you have the training, a passion for guest care, and a positive, team-oriented attitude, we’d love to hear from you.

This is a great fit for people who:

- Have a Massage Certification and/or Aesthetician Certification

- Bring at least 1 year of relevant spa or wellness experience (hospitality experience is an asset)

- Are physically fit to provide spa treatments, which require standing, bending, movement, and applied pressure

- Communicate clearly and professionally in English (additional languages are a plus)

- Enjoy working in a team environment and contribute to a positive workplace

- Are highly organized and able to manage time well during busy shifts

- Are available to work weekends and holidays

Core responsibilities:

- Provide individualized massage and spa treatments that meet guest needs and expectations

- Review guest history and assess any concerns or contraindications before treatment

- Recommend spa products and treatments, and share resort information when appropriate

- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment space

- Follow proper equipment maintenance and safety protocols

- Handle guest interactions with professionalism, ensuring comfort and privacy at all times

- Address concerns or complaints with care, escalating to management when needed

- Assist with laundering spa linens as required

- Attend scheduled meetings, trainings, and team activities
