JOB SUMMARY
A Credit Manager oversees the credit granting process, manages accounts receivable, and ensures compliance with company and legal policies. They evaluate credit risks, develop strategies to minimize losses, and may supervise a team of credit and collections staff. Responsibilities include managing credit limits, credit exposure, and customer collections.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:
- Evaluate potential customers’ creditworthiness
- Approve or reject credit limit requests from customers
- Monitor customers’ credit exposure
- Create a credit scoring model to assess risks
- Customer collections and communication
- Provide monthly credit reports to Management

Qualifications
Education, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience required.
- 5 years of applicable work experience in a general financial accounting or credit department role.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software.
- Required Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
