About this role
The Role
We're looking for a winner — an experienced Employment Litigation Paralegal who's ready to hit the ground running, take real ownership, and make a measurable impact at a modern, remote law firm that's scaling quickly. This is not a legal secretary position. You'll be a true partner to our attorneys, driving cases forward using technology, strategy, and sharp instincts. If you can manage complexity, meet deadlines without being chased, and take pride in moving cases to resolution, we want to hear from you.
The Culture
Laurel is built different. We started the firm asking an important question: "What if it didn't have to suck to work at a law firm? In fact, what if it could be kind of awesome?" The result is an award-winning culture where we take the work seriously without ever taking ourselves too seriously. We've built a team of winners who work together to get more done, more efficiently, while leaving opposing counsel asking themselves, "how the heck did they do that?" We win and we have fun doing it. It's a better way to practice.
The Laurel Way
Laurel is built on three unique competitive advantages: Technology, Culture, and a Shared Services model that eliminates the most inefficient parts of the job. Our paralegals work inside cloud-based systems with powerful automation tools, smart templates, and integrated communication platforms. You spend your time on high-value work, not busywork.
What You'll Do
- Support attorneys across active caseloads in a fully remote, fast-moving environment
- Draft and prepare motions, mediation briefs, discovery requests, discovery responses, and other litigation documents
- Manage deadlines, coordinate filings, and keep cases moving forward with precision
- Organize and maintain case files, records, and client communications in our cloud-based systems
- Coordinate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed
- Apply a project-manager mindset to juggle multiple cases without dropping the ball
Your Skills & Mindset

- Project-manager mentality with serious deadline discipline

- Bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate preferred
- Prior remote-work experience strongly preferred
