💵 Pay: $21.45 – $26.81 per hour
📅 Job Type: Full-Time
Most employees start between $21.45 and $24.13. The higher end of the range, $26.81, is reserved for candidates with exceptional experience or qualifications.
Shift: Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Benefits: eligible after 30 days month following employment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Actively participate in Seaport Steel's safety program.
- Unload Material from Rail Cars and trailers and store them within designated areas based on material.
- Load Material to Trailers based on work order instructions.
- Inspect the forklift before using it.
- Clean work area daily: Cut wood from railcars and store it in the designated work area.

Education/Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability
- Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
- Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Math Ability
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s.
- Ability to perform these operations using weight measurement.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
