Qualifications

Job Duties:

2nd Cook -

- Assists in the preparation of all foods according to a menu plan and standardized recipes in a safe, efficient and timely manner with continuous assessment of changes

- Assist in getting feedback from residents to provide top notch quality while utilizing the pantry efficiently

- Excellent organization and planning skills to monitor inventory, expiration dates and meal schedules

- Performs kitchen and dining room cleanup duties after meals to uphold the highest sanitary standards

- Must be able to adapt to a variety of job duties and situations; able and willing to work flexible hours, such as emergency situations.

- Works scheduled shifts including overtime, scheduled weekends, holidays and rotating shifts when needed.

- Performs all other duties assigned by the Executive Director or Supervisor in charge which may include housekeeping duties, light maintenance and Resident attention.
